Mosaic adds splash of colour to school
A new mosaic created by pupils has been unveiled at Paulton Infant School.
During the summer term artists Frances Whittaker and Angela Nash worked with the children to design and create a colourful mosaic backdrop to the play area.
The end result has been be put in place surrounded by decking for pupils to play on.
School governor,Catharine Young, who helped mastermind the project, said: "The result is a lasting reminder of a special year for our nation with a mosaic crown symbolising the Diamond Jubilee and an Olympic flame representing the outstanding Olympic and Paralympic successes."
