Moped rider rescued by firefighters after crashing into ditch in Lympsham
An injured moped rider had to be rescued by firefighters after he crashed and was thrown into a water-filled ditch near Weston-super-Mare.
Crews wore dry suits and used a triple extension ladder and safety lines to rescue the man after the accident at Brean Road, Lympsham, at 4.30pm yesterday.

The rider was treated by paramedics but it is not known how seriously he was injured.
