A 12-YEAR-OLD boy who went missing from his Yeovil home on Saturday evening for more than 12 hours has been found.

Thomas Mearing left his home in Poplar Drive around 7.15pm on Saturday, saying he was going to Nine Springs Park in Yeovil, following an argument.

Yeovil Police issued an appeal for information following concerns for his welfare. By Sunday lunchtime he had returned safely home.

A spokesman said: "Thank you to local residents and businesses for their assistance in this investigation."
