"Mindless" thieves try to break in to Wincanton property
Thieves tried to break in to a property on the Hopkins Court area of Wincanton on Friday.
Offenders smashed two CCTV cameras and tried to force open a metal grid during the attempted break-in at around 9.20pm. Damage was also caused to a UPVC door.

Thieves attempted a break-in at a Wincanton property
The incident follows several break-ins in the town over recent weeks.
PCSO Mandy Forsey said: "This is a mindless, cowardly act of attempted burglary that has ended in causing damage to property. The victim cannot understand why anyone would do this, and they are very upset by the incident."
