Midsomer Norton basketball star Macauley Tomlinson needs your help to achieve his dream
Wheelchair basketball star Macauley Tomlinson is appealing for sponsors to help him achieve his dream of representing his country.
The 17-year-old, from Midsomer Norton, is rapidly outgrowing his sports wheelchair and needs to raise £3,500 for a new one.
Macauley has just returned from the Sainsbury's School Games, where he was vice-captain of the England South team, and has already attracted the attention of Team GB coaches.
He said: "I really enjoy my sport and playing for the national team is my dream but I am outgrowing the chair I have.
"An elite chair costs £3,500 but it would help me towards the next level of the sport."
Macauley was born with a club foot and after more than 47 operations before the age of ten made the decision to have part of his leg amputated.
