Met Office issue weather warning for ice across Somerset

The Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning for ice across Somerset tomorrow.

Drivers are being urged to take care between 9am and 5pm when wintry showers overnight could leave roads icy.

A Met Office spokesperson said: "Wintry showers and strong winds will continue in many areas overnight, although some clearer spells will develop in the south and east.

"Surfaces will remain wet from earlier showers and from continued showers of rain, sleet and snow, allowing ice to form.
