Mendip Cycling Club's Carl Lambert completes first 50-mile ride
Members of Mendip Cycling Club took part in the British Heart Foundation ride.
Among the riders was the club's youngest member, Carl Lambert, who completed 50 miles for the first time.
He was joined by Keith Lamb and Paul Knight, who both finished in 3hrs 2mins, along with Ollie Taylor, who came home in 2:18.
Meanwhile, Andy Chamberlain took part in the 51st edition of the 3 Peaks Cyclocross event in the Yorkshire dales.

The route took in the famous summits of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen y Ghent, involving more than 5,000ft of ascent over the 38-mile course. Chamberlain completed the route in 5:44.
Mendip CC member Justin Thomas swapped pedal power for his running shoes to compete in the Burnham-on-Sea half marathon on Sunday, coming home 21st overall in 1:26:54.
