Melting snow could pose a new flood risk to Somerset in the coming days, the Met Office has warned.
A severe weather warning of rain has been issued for tomorrow, with the county warned to brace itself for possible surface water and river flooding.
Although the rainfall forecast is not expected to be heavy, the large amounts of snow currently lying on higher ground in Somerset could combine with the rain to create flooding problems as it melts.
A similar yellow warning is also in place across the region on Sunday, when more rain is expected to fall.

Meanwhile, Somerset remains on ice alert this morning after temperatures dropped below freezing last night.
Drivers in particular are being warned to look out for untreated road surfaces where fresh snow has fallen, or where lying snow has frozen solid.
The Met Office also said that light snow flurries are possible in places today.
Met Office chief forecaster Paul Gundersen said: "Tuesday night's heavy snow across parts of the south looks like being the last of the heavy snow for a while, with just light flurries around on Wednesday.
"The weather will stay very cold, but mostly dry through the rest of the week with severe frosts and patchy fog at night continuing to make it very icy.
"Everyone should continue to be aware of severe weather over the next few days and should plan ahead to take account of possible travel delays or disruption."
The AA's head of special operations, Darron Burness, said: "With freezing conditions set to continue until the weekend, ice is going to be the biggest ongoing hazard over the next few days.
"Even if your car's thermometer shows the air temperature above freezing, bear in mind that the ground takes longer to thaw out, so ice is still a risk.
"Wherever you're travelling this week, stick to the gritted main roads where possible and check the Met Office weather alerts and traffic reports before departing."
The Met Office said milder air from the Atlantic could return to the region during the weekend, but that the change would bring outbreaks of rain and strong winds.
