Man suffers cuts to head in assault as he left Wincanton hotel
A man suffered head injuries in an assault after he left a Wincanton hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man had just left the White Horse Hotel in the town's High Street when the incident took place at around 2am, police said.

Officers believe there were several people in the High Street at the time of the incident, which left the victim with cuts to his head, and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
