Man stabbed himself in chest at Weston-super-Mare medical surgery
A man stabbed himself in the chest while inside a Weston-super-Mare medical surgery.
Emergency teams were called at just before 11.15am yesterday to Stafford Place Medical Surgery after reports a man in his 40s had stabbed himself in the chest.
Paramedics and a rapid response crew were on the scene within minutes and the Great Western Air Ambulance – carrying critical care paramedics – was also called.
The Boulevard had to be shut off to allow the helicopter to land.

The man was treated at the scene before being taken to the Bristol Royal Infirmary by road ambulance.
