Man released after questioning on fatality outside Weston-super-Mare nightclub
A man in his 30s who was being questioned in connection with a fatal assault on a man outside a Weston-super-Mare club has been released without charge.
The incident happened at VII nightclub in Princess Royal Square at just before 3am on August 19. Joseph Williams, 23, had been removed from the club earlier and was found nearby with serious head injuries.
He was taken to Frenchay Hospital with a bleed on the brain, and died there on August 23.
