Man ran over in fake £10 note tale of woe
A man was deliberately run over in a dispute sparked by a fake £10 note. Richard Harling, 45, of Orchard Close, Kewstoke, near Weston-super-Mare, was jailed for three years, the Weston Mercury reported. North Somerset Magistrates' Court heard he ran over David Purkiss at the Parish Pump pub in Worle. The court heard Mr Purkiss had earlier hit Harling in the nearby Sainsbury's. Harling pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm and dangerous driving.
