Man led to safety from late night Shepton Mallet house fire
A man was rescued from a house fire in Shepton Mallet in the early hours of this morning.
Two fire crews from the town were called out to a property at Ash Grove shortly before 1am following reports of a person trapped inside.

Firefighters found a small fire at the bottom of the stairwell and, after leading the occupant to safety, extinguished the blaze.
