Man to face trial over assault allegations
A 24-year-old man will face trial for allegedly assaulting two people outside a pub in Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
Timoci Cabenauli Naita, from the Ministry of Defence Army Training, Battlesbury Barracks, Warminster, Wiltshire, entered no plea.
He is accused of pushing Lisa Burridge to the ground during an argument outside the Victoria Inn on June 6. Miss Burridge fractured her right wrist. He is also accused of assaulting Barry Dunn during the same incident. He will reappear before Frome Magistrates on October 27 for his case to be sent to Crown Court.
