Man charged with murder over Bridgwater death

A man has this evening been charged with murder after a 72-year-old man was stabbed to death in Bridgwater.

Michael Bithrey, from East Devon, was airlifted to Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital, where he later died, last Thursday.

A post mortem report concluded he died from a stab wound.

Anthony Andrews, 83, has been charged with his murder, and will appear at Bristol Magistrates Court tomorrow.
