Major event comes to Mendips Raceway
MENDIPS Raceway is hosting the biggest event in the Stock Car racing calendar this weekend.
The Formula 2 World Championship comes to the track and is expected to attract more than 5,000 spectators and drivers from throughout the UK.
Saturday will see an open practice session from 2pm, for which spectators will be admitted for free.
The main racing gets under way the following day from 11.30am, with the main attraction being the 2008 F2 Stock Car World Final.
