MPs can now enjoy a hearty pint of Somerset brew in the House of Commons while doing their bit for a Royal Marines’ charity.

Cotleigh Brewery at Taunton Deane got a helping hand from local MP Jeremy Browne who made sure the beer went on sale in the House of Commons bar.

Mr Browne said: “Cotleigh Commando is a great idea in support of our local Royal Marines. For every pint or bottle of Cotleigh Commando sold, 5p is donated to the Go Commando charity.

“These vital funds are supporting 40 Commando Royal Marines who have paid a heavy price in the brave service of our country. It is fantastic that such a strong bond exists between 40 Commando and the people of Taunton Deane.”
