Lucky 13 as Chew Valley rugby men run riot against Imperial
MATCH REPORT: Imperial RFC 0 Chew Valley RFC 77
A green and white storm blew Imperial away as Tribute Somerset Premier leaders Chew Valley ran in 13 unanswered tries at West Town Lane.
Despite the strong wind blowing in from the east, the visitors were superior in every facet of the game as touchdowns arrived at regular intervals.
Tom Bryan and Ross Elliott helped themselves to hat-tricks and Andy McCormack bagged a brace, while Silas Cox and Will Bryan also crossed the line as Chew Valley moved smoothly through the gears to put players in space and run through training ground moves.

The Imperial cause was not helped by losing prop Arron Binns with a shoulder injury after 30 minutes but by that time, the visitors already had the bonus point in the bag and were cruising.
Alec Cameron had an off day with the boot, missing seven out of 12 kicks, but Tom Bryan converted the last try to show him how it should have been done.
Imperial were unable to fashion any scoring chances and the score reflected the gulf between top and bottom in the league.
