Longleat's chief resigns
CHIEF Executive of Longleat Safari Park David Bradley has resigned and his job has been taken over by Viscount of Weymouth, Ceawlin Thynne.
The viscount is chairman of Longleat Enterprises Limited and has now also assumed the duties of acting chief executive.
A fortnight ago Mr Bradley, a former director of Legoland, was temporarily suspended while what was described as a "review" was carried out. An interim team has been running the operation since his suspension.
In a statement this week, Longleat said: "The company will be conducting a review of the future mix of attractions at Longleat to ensure that the business will continue to be at the forefront of the best visitor attractions in the UK. There have been no other changes in personnel."
