Lloyd, with no commotions, is back behind the mic
Back in June Lloyd Cole, who plays Bath Komedia on Monday, released the critically acclaimed Standards album. Recorded in late 2012 in Los Angeles, New York and at his home in Easthampton, Massachusetts, Standards was inspired in part by the vitality he found in septuagenarian Bob Dylan's acclaimed 2012 album Tempest. He said: "I took it as a kick up the backside.
"For the last ten years I've been primarily an acoustic musician," says Lloyd, "but this is an album for electric guitars, electric bass and loud drums."
Doors open at 7pm.
