Lecturer raising cash for school in Africa
A COLLEGE lecturer from Weston-super-Mare is raising money for a struggling school in Gambia.
Julie Pimm, a sports lecturer at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College in Filton, is collecting donations to buy classroom essentials and PE kit for Gunjur Lower Basic School.
Ms Pimm visited the 2,000-pupil school in February last year and will travel there again next month.
She is looking to buy notebooks, paper and pens.
