Batcombe Film Society is staging a Lebanese evening on Saturday when the screening will be of Where Do We Go Now? (12A).

It is a bittersweet comedy set in a remote Lebanese village where the church and the mosque stand side by side.

The film follows the antics of the women to keep their men from starting a religious war.

The women, heartsick over sons, husbands and fathers lost to previous flare-ups unite to distract their hot-headed men with clever ruses and thus hold the community together.
