Late-night opening aims to attract shoppers
A Radstock-based charity that recently celebrated the second anniversary of their Westfield charity shop will pilot late-night openings every Friday from tomorrow.
PEOPLE (providing ex-offenders positive learning environments) opened its second charity shop, at Elm Tree Avenue in Westfield, following the success of its first in Radstock, which was set up in 2005.

The charity team now hopes the late-night opening, until 8pm, will encourage even more shoppers through the door.
The charity was formed because of a lack of help and advice to prisoners who return to rural areas in Bath and north east Somerset for resettlement.
They provide support by helping with accommodation, employability, benefit claims, anger management problems, parenting skills and training.
Tymon Emery, volunteer support manager, said: "The shop has proved very successful with local residents and we are delighted with the support and response we have received, although some people still don't know we are here.
"The shop has helped us provide valuable learning skills to a number of beneficiaries and provide services which help promote community safety.
"We have wonderful volunteers working with us and cannot reiterate how much we appreciated their support and like most organisations, we are always on the lookout for new volunteers to help."
Anyone who can help the charity can call Tymon Emery on 07983810282.
