Landmark has £350,000 revamp
DISPLAYING Castle Cary's burgeoning reputation as a town looking to expand and develop while conserving the town's charming look and heritage is the £350,000 revamp of the Market House.
Housing the Castle Cary Museum, two old prison cells and the Information Centre, the area is not just an historical landmark for the town but an intrinsic part of the community.
Residing in the centre of town the building acts as a focal point and a central hub of activity as many town events are held there.
There is also a market that takes place there and one of the objectives for the revamp is to expand this.
