Landmark for cancer group
A SUPPORT group for bowel cancer sufferers has celebrated its sixth anniversary.
Colon-aid helps those diagnosed or recovering from the disease in the Yeovil area.
The group raised more than £1,000 by holding a cream tea afternoon, with £800 being donated to St Margaret's Hospice and £300 to Yeovil District Hospital's colorectal and stoma care department.
Membership of the group is made up of patients and carers between 50 and 80 years old.
