Kite fans head for the beach this summer

Kite flyers with be taking to the beach at Weston-super-Mare in June fro a new festival. Organisers working with North Somerset Council hope that the festival will become an annual fixture and help to attract more visitors to the area. Invited guest flyers will join with local kite group Avon Kite Flyers in staging aerial displays on the beach on June 8 and 9. Giant 3D creatures will join power kites and synchronised team routines flown to music. It is organised by Avril and Martin Baker, part of the team behind the Bristol International Kite Festival.

Enjoy one free child admission with a full paying adult ticket.
