Struggling with my shopping last Friday in the Wells Tesco car park – unbeknown to me, some items escaped, including a tiger loaf.

I turned my head to witness the loaf disappear under the wheels of a passing car.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the kind driver of that car, who not only stopped, but also insisted on replacing the loaf instantly.

Through your readership, I would also like to say he wore long hair, ripped jeans and sported a tattoo on his forehead. Never judge a book by its cover. How true.
