Kilkenny sure that City can turn it around
Neil Kilkenny hopes he can continue in a Bristol City side bolstered by the loan signing of midfielder Neil Danns from Leicester ahead of today's home Championship clash with Blackpool.
The Robins go into the Ashton Gate match looking to avoid a club record eight league defeats in succession.
Australia international midfielder Kilkenny has spent the majority of the season ruled out by injury and last Sunday's defeat by Charlton was his first start in more than a month and only his third of the season.
Kilkenny feels he is getting back to full match-fitness after two recent substitute appearances prior to the Charlton match and is keen to play alongside Danns.

"Neil is a very good player. I played with him before at Birmingham and I've known him for quite a few years now and he's a good addition to the squad.
"We have to be positive about the place and we hope this difficult run will come to an end against Blackpool."
Kilkenny recalled last season's poor form to show just how quickly the team can climb the Championship table.
He added: "Last season we were on a terrible run when the current manager took over. We went to Barnsley, picked up three points and went unbeaten for the next five games – and we started climbing the table," said Kilkenny.
"Once we put a few good results together, we will soon climb the table and the confidence will begin to build. We have to be positive if we want to put an end to this run.
"We know Blackpool will be a tough test, they have done well in previous seasons by being a good footballing side. We like to do the same and will look to create many chances.
"We are all disappointed with the way we have been playing, but we do have the players to get out of this position. We will look to put things right and, hopefully, pick up three points.
"On a personal level, it's great to be back in the team. The injuries have been very frustrating. It will take a little while for me to get to full fitness but, hopefully, I will do that by playing games."
City manager Derek McInnes has more injuries to contend with, centre-backs Lewin Nyatanga and Louis Carey being added to the growing list, which features defenders Stephen McManus and Greg Cunningham and midfielders Jody Morris and Cole Skuse.
But McInnes stressed: "We have enough players to go and get a result against Blackpool and with Neil coming in it gives us extra competition in midfield.
"When we first came into the job we assessed there was a real trepidation about playing at home and a real anxiety and fear amongst the players.
"I think some of that trepidation was evident again in the last game. We've got to get back to enjoying playing at home again.
"I thought last Sunday's game was full of commitment, but what it lacked was a real determination to make things better for us and a real tenacity about the performance.
"We have to make sure that if we start well or not, we have a real belief among the players that we can win the game."
Blackpool will be without Matt Phillips (toe) and Gary Taylor-Fletcher (hamstring).
Tiago Gomes is in line to replace Phillips, while Kevin Phillips (calf) is available again.
