Kestrel O'Connell to stand trial for assaulting Dr Robert Vriend at Vine Surgery in Street
A man charged with assaulting a doctor and a public order offence at a GP's surgery in Street has been ordered to stand trial later this month.
Kestrel Frank O'Connell, aged 34, of Benedict Street, Glastonbury, pleaded not guilty to assaulting Dr Robert Vriend by beating during the incident at the Vine Surgery on July 25.
He also denied a second allegation of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress on the same date

The case was put before District Judge David Parsons, sitting at Yeovil, who carried out a review of the matter and adjourned the case for a trial to take place on Monday March 18.
Until then he was released on bail with the conditions that he must not go to the Vines Surgery in Hindhayes Lane, Street, and must not contact Dr Robert Vriend.
