Keith Richards hints at Glastonbury Festival slot for the Rolling Stones
Rolling Stone Keith Richards has said a first appearance at next year's Glastonbury Festival is an "interesting proposition" for The Rolling Stones.
The band's 50th anniversary touring commitments are unlikely to be restricted to only the recently announced quartet of London and New Jersey shows in November and December, he said.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, the guitarist confirmed further plans for 2013 are in the pipeline, and that Glastonbury is a distinct possibility for next year should the weather hold up.
"Nobody has given us a heads up but this band isn't going to wind up with four shows," he remarked. "Next year looks like it is on."

Speaking about the Glastonbury Festival he said: "On a good day if the weather's fine that's an interesting proposition."
"The band wants to get these four gigs under their belt and then think about next year after that. Anything is possible with this band."
Mick Jagger, 69, has also suggested that the band will play more than the four autumn shows currently scheduled.
Speaking to BBC Radio2 DJ Chris Evans he hinted at a longer tour, referring to the four gigs as "the first bit".
Also strongly rumoured to be playing the festival - in the tabloid press at least - are Radiohead, Plan B, Fleetwood Mac and Mumford and Sons, with Pilton Party headliners Professor Green and The Vaccines looking to be a surer bet.
