Jump in with frogs to revamp park
Members of Frome Recreation and Open Grounds Supporters (Frogs) are asking for volunteers to get stuck in and muddy at Welshmill Park on Saturday from 2 to 4pm.
Frogs won £50,000 from the Community Spaces (Lottery) to help transform the play park.
The pump and cycle track are under way and the organisation is now asking for extra help to prepare the area for planting as well as logs for seating in time for a launch party on Saturday, July 21.
Volunteers are advised to wear stout boots and gardening gloves and bring a garden spade or fork if they have one.
