Jos Buttler blasted a 56-ball unbeaten century and Craig Kieswetter hit 53 off 41 balls as the Somerset pair helped England Lions roar to victory over their Sri Lanka A hosts in the first of their five-match one-day international series in Dambulla yesterday.

Buttler’s 102 not out featured 13 fours and five sixes while Kieswetter scored six fours as the Lions posted 335 for five off their 50 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka A were all out for 267 in 45.3 overs to give the Lions victory by 68 runs.
