Two women at an old people's home have celebrated reaching the ripe old age of 102 within a month of each other.

Mable Burton and Ena Edwards celebrated with family, friends and staff at Cholwell Nursing Home, in Temple Cloud, at a joint birthday party to mark the big occasion.

Mrs Burton celebrated her 102nd birthday on April 25 while Mrs Edwards is planning for hers on Monday.

Both women have been at the home since 2002.
