Innovation at Shepton
An innovative form of martial arts came to Shepton Mallet on Sunday to launch a brand new programme.
Martial Arts X-treme has been developed by Britain's Got Talent act the Bruce Sistaz, Chloe and Grace, and Matt Fiddes master David Finch.

The launch at Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre got off to a thrilling start with a demonstration performance from the Bruce Sistaz before students from the town's Matt Fiddes martial arts school were put through their paces in a masterclass.
A weekly course of the new MAX programme will now begin at the Leisure Centre from Sunday.

Instructor Lucy Fear, who runs the Matt Fiddes schools in the area, said: "The concept of MAX, which is a fusion of weapons, acrobatic, gymnastics and traditional martial arts with an extreme twist, is the most explosive new style I have seen in a long time.
"I'm proud to introduce these brand new classes, which start at Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre this Sunday."
Shepton's MAX school is the first of its kind in Somerset and will be led by qualified instructor Ashley Herron. The classes are not exclusive to current Matt Fiddes students and anyone from the age of seven upwards can enrol.
