Opponents of a proposed wind farm will fly a balloon mimicking the impact of a mast after a planning inquiry into the scheme next week.

Huntspill Wind Farm Action Group will fly the blimp, bearing the word ‘no’, 400 feet above the site from Thursday.

The three-day inquiry opens at Princess Hall, Burnham-on-sea on Tuesday.

Julie Trott, from the group, said the blimp would show how masts would dominate the landscape.
