Hunting campaigner bailed on fraud claims
A sacked charity worker and animal rights activist arrested on suspicion of fraud has been rebailed by police. Steve Taylor, 35, of Saltash, Devon, was axed as spokesman for the anti-hunting League Against Cruel Sports in November. He was sacked by the Surrey charity for gross misconduct following a disciplinary investigation centering on expenses claims. The former head of campaigns and communications is still under investigation by police probing possible financial irregularities. He has been rebailed until March 6.
