Mild weather brought out hundreds of spectators to watch the annual new year hunt meet at Marston House, on the outskirts of Frome.

The South West Wiltshire Hunt met on the invitation of organiser Angela Yeoman at the former stately home in Marston Bigot.

More than 40 riders were treated to mince pies and mulled wine, and soft drinks for the children, before they set off the hounds for a ride around the Mendips at about 11am.
