Hunt dogs take lead role in behaving well
While cycling on the Mendips this weekend, I came across a scene of the horses and hounds of the Mendip Farmers' Hunt.
Normally a degree of trepidation is required by any cyclist when passing dogs. These hounds, though, were only interested in the scent. It was a pleasure to come across a professionally trained pack of working dogs.
All those dog owners who are unable or unwilling to control their pets should go the hunt for lessons in canine control.
