Glamour model Katie Price thrilled fans at a book signing in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.

Hundreds of fans queued from 5.30am to see the star, who was signing copies of her novel Paradise.

She visited Waterstones in the Sovereign Centre.

One of the first people to meet her was Brendon Ford, 15, who lives in the town.

Brendon was involved in a road accident in Marchfields Way in 2006 which left him unable to walk.

He hoped to meet Katie but got more than he bargained for when she agreed to have her picture taken with him.
