Hospital's sorry for clinic closing
YEOVIL District Hospital has apologised after an outpatient eye clinic suddenly closed on Monday.
Initially blamed on staff shortages, the closure meant a "handful" of visitors to the outpatient service had appointments rescheduled. The clinic will be open again next week, a spokeswoman for the hospital said.
A statement on Tuesday said: "On occasions we have to reschedule clinics due to circumstances beyond our control."
