NEW advice sessions for people needing help with issues such as benefits, debt or housing are being held at Weston-super-Mare Town Hall.

The sessions are a new service being run by the Citizens Advice Bureau in conjunction with North Somerset Council.

The service is confidential, impartial and free and people can book appointments with specialist caseworkers. Bureau director Anne Richards said: "We are delighted to be working with North Somerset Council to offer this new service, which we hope will make getting advice even easier. "We know that with all the changes to the welfare benefits system this is a worrying time for many people who may not previously have been affected, or are concerned about what these changes will mean for them.

"We can help and have up-to-date information on all these issues." Sessions will take place every Wednesday, from April 3, between noon and 2.30pm. Existing CAB services will remain open across North Somerset.
