Help out with heritage
SHERBORNE heritage organisations are appealing for helpers.
Sherborne Museum, the Somerset and Dorset Family History Society and the Sherborne Steam and Waterwheel Museum are hosting a recruitment drive on Saturday to drum up support.
The event, which hopes to enlist the help of new volunteers and promote the work of the groups, will take place at the Catholic Church Hall, Westbury, Sherborne, between 10am and 3pm.
A second-hand book sale, a raffle and refreshments will be on offer. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
