Hartlepool will be without injured defender Jack Baldwin for their home game with Yeovil.

Baldwin, playing in midfield in the goalless midweek draw with Colchester, sustained a knee injury in the first half and was replaced by Nathan Luscombe.

Manager John Hughes, who has no other new injury or suspension problems, must decide whether to hand Luscombe his first start of the season, while midfielder Antony Sweeney is pushing for a recall.

Sweeney had been sidelined since January with a knee injury before making a late appearance off the bench in midweek.

Fellow midfielder Simon Walton, came through the full 90 minutes against Colchester unscathed after missing last Saturday's defeat at Doncaster with a back/hamstring problem.

Pools, seven points adrift of safety, are unbeaten in their last five home matches.

Yeovil will be without midfielder Matt Dolan as they look to move back into the automatic promotion places.

The Middlesbrough loanee has returned to The Riverside having picked up a groin injury in the Glovers' 1-0 win over Tranmere on Saturday and manager Gary Johnson believes he may have played his last game for the club.

It is the second time he has returned to his parent club for treatment and Johnson confirmed they will keep in touch with the youngster until he returns to fitness and they will then have to decide whether to bring him back to Huish Park.

With no midweek fixture, a number of Yeovil players got some valuable game time for their reserve side against Hereford with goals from striker Wes Fletcher, signed on loan from Burnley last week, Lewis Young and Gavin Williams.

Yeovil make the long trip in fourth place in npower League One, three points behind second-placed Sheffield United.
