Harry homes in on podium
Shepton Mallet's Harry Millward produced a superb driving display to narrowly miss out on top spot among a large field which included some of the UK's best racers at the Southern Championships last week.
Held at Mansell Raceway in Dunkeswell, a track that Millward has only driven once before two years ago, the 14-year-old Whitstone School pupil quickly adapted to atrocious qualifying conditions to set the second fastest time of the day.
Sunday's heats and final were a different story altogether as the sun dried the track allowing for quick times.
And Millward showed his class when it mattered to claim the final podium place in the showpiece race in the face of tough opposition.

"I managed to qualify for the final in fifth on the right side of the grid and get into second place but my tyres started to go off," said Millward.
"I'm still really happy with third place as it was my biggest race so far at this level with some really quick competition.
"I'd like to thank my Dad and GWMotorsport for the patience and belief in me. Its really starting to pay off."
