Halloween fun for teenagers at Yeovil nightclub
Teenagers are encouraged to dress to impress this Halloween at a special under 18s event in a Yeovil nightclub.
As an alternative to trick or treating, Club Neo, on Stars Lane, will host a Halloween party for young clubbers on Wednesday, October 31 from 7pm to 11pm.
There will be prizes for the best dressed boy, girl and group. Music will be provided by resident DJ Clifty with his mix of urban favorites, funky house and Ibiza style dance anthems, as well as live performances by London hip hop star Rising Son and local artists Connor Solle and Plodge.
The evening is organised by The Zero Project, a multi-agency group whose aim is to reduce antisocial behaviour and binge drinking by providing a safe, alcohol-free environment for young people.

District councillor Ian Martin said: "The Zero night at Club Neo really is the coolest place for 14 to 17 year olds to be for Halloween this year. Be safe, enjoy, have fun."
The project promotes zero tolerance to alcohol and anti-social behaviour. The Zero team endeavour to ensure a safe passage to the nearby Stars Lane car park at the end of the evening. The Street Pastors will also be on hand to assist and help ensure club-goers get home safely.
Zero has been successfully running under 18 events during school holidays for the past four years and has the support of the police, South Somerset District Council, Somerset County Council, the NHS, REACH, schools, youth organisations and parents.
Entry is £5 on the door. Information about forthcoming and past events as well as a photo gallery can be found at www.facebook.com/zeroclubbers.
A further New Year 'Snow' party is planned for Wednesday, January 2 at Club Neo.
