Greg Charlton try seals Taunton Titans win over Dings Crusaders
Taunton Titans broke their duck in SSE National Two South with an 18-16 comeback win against the Bristol side Dings Crusaders.
But it was a close-run thing with the match being dominated by a whole series of handling errors.
Dings, looking to follow up the previous Saturday’s exciting win over Clifton, led 9-0 at one stage in the first half through three penalties by Mark Woodrow.
Titans took the advantage of the sin-binned Dave Bufton to score a penalty themselves through Bretty Turner before the interval.

Titans hit back again early in the second half with an unconverted try by Mike Pope and Turner then gave the home side the lead for the first time with a second penalty to make it 11-9.
With Titans down to 13 players because of two yellow cards, Dings bounced back to take the lead with a try by Josh Lloyd, converted by Woodrow.
But the home side had the final say as Greg Charlton went over for a breakaway try with Turner kicking the crucial conversion points, while Dings hooker Dave Wheeler was in the sin-bin.
Woodrow was wide with a late long-range penalty attempt for Dings.
