Green traffic lights to be installed at Weston-super-Mare junction
New energy-efficient, low-wattage LED traffic lights will be installed next week at a junction in Weston-Super-Mare.
The works will be carried out at the Queensway Junction with Walford Avenue and New Bristol Road on September 11 and 12.
The lights will be off for two days while the work is completed. The new lights will provide a 70 per cent annual reduction in energy and future maintenance costs.
