Glovers won't rush into making next new signing, insists Jones

The Glovers are looking to add an experienced striker to their squad, but they are prepared to wait for the right man.

Stephen Henderson
Goalkeepers Stephen Henderson and Richard Martin, midfielders Paul Wotton and Alex Russell and defender Max Ehmer have all arrived at Huish Park in the last week. They are available ime for today's League One home game against Brentford.
Jones said Yeovil's management team had now turned attentions to strengthening other areas of the pitch, with boss Terry Skiverton missing training on Thursday to watch a game.
"We have good players here and we want to add competition to the squad and strength to the squad," he said.
"We get players thrown at us every minute of every day but what we want to do is that the players we bring in to be impact, not ones that are going to be just making up numbers, and so far we have done that.
"Alex Russell will be vital to the squad, as will people like Paul Wotton and Max Ehmer. We are looking at strengthening other areas of the team but we want to bring in the right person and it is about identifying that.
"It will not be a rushed decision. We could have signed one or two strikers or widemen, but it was not what we wanted. We have got targets who we are going after so until we get those ones there will not be anyone.
"We know what position we are in, we know that the transfer window is closing, but there is no real time limit on when we get them or how we get them."
The Glovers enter today's clash with the Bees third from bottom in npower League One, unbeaten in their last three and with clean sheets in each.
Jones said: "We know it will be a tough game. At the minute we are trying to get home games more like occasions.
"We are trying to get a sense of occasion every time we play at home so we can go out, hopefully get points, treat the fans to things they have been missing lately and get players enjoying playing at home."
