Will Glastonbury Festival 2014 be the year for metal music?
FESTIVAL guide eFestivals recently added AC/DC to their rumour list, and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich had said the band would love to play at the festival.
NME reported that the US band have never played at Worthy Farm before but, with no headliners yet revealed for the 2014 bash, Ulrich has suggested Metallica could play.
The drummer revealed to MTV that he is keen to perform, but worries that the chances headlining the Pyramid Stage are diminishing. He said: "Every year there's probably less chance of us doing it than the previous year, but it just looks like it would be a fun night out
"We've been fortunate enough to play every other festival on this planet numerous times, so Glastonbury is the only one that's eluding us.

"There's such a vibe and it's maybe the most quintessentially English festival. Everybody who goes there loves it and obviously Michael [Eavis] doesn't need our help – I completely appreciate and respect that – but if he ever wants to get hold of us we're in the Yellow Pages and ready to go."
According to Wikipedia other metal bands touring next year include Mötley Crüe, embarking on a farewell tour, and Jag Panzer, from Colorado.
The Eagles have announced a 40th anniversary tour next year and Aerosmith are currently touring.
English heavy metal band Iron Maiden have just finished a world tour.
Festival organiser Michael Eavis said earlier this year the three headliners have already been booked. They will be revealed next year.
