Glastonbury Carnival 2012 results: Spectacular end to carnival season

A fantastic Somerset Guy Fawkes Carnival season came to an end at Glastonbury with a parade to remember for thousands of sightseers and a grand party in a marquee with room for 2,000 of the carnivalites who put on the shows.

Bridgwater Carnival’s switch to a Saturday at the start of the season boosted its crowd and led to a change in the running order which gave Glastonbury the honour of hosting the final party.
